Whew. It feels refreshing to get October out of the way. It was great month, but it was also busy and filled with a lot of bad food.

I’m really excited to get this new blog going. I have a ton of ideas AND I should be getting a smart phone soon. Getting the Tumblr app for that is really going to…

Okay, so I’m starting a new blog pretty soon.  I’m still working on setting it up, but definitely by November 1st, I’ll be all ready to start blogging there.

And yes, that means I will NOT be blogging on this tumblr anymore. Just the new one.

My only post on the new one will explain why I’m switching if you’re interested.

I’m really considering starting over with another blog.  I don’t feel accountable with this one anymore like I use to.  I have a bad history on this blog of saying one thing and doing another.  It didn’t always use to be like that, but that’s what it’s turned into.

I probably won’t roll out the new one until November 1st.  But I think it will be a good thing.  I’m really looking forward to November to start over again. 

So, just a heads up.

Just got a banana and some sugar free Jello for breakfast.

I need to plan out lunch so I don’t eat any of the food in the warmer..

And water.  I need to drink lots and lots of water.

My blood sugar has just been all cranky this last week since I’ve been eating terribly.  I took a nap yesterday after a Halloween candy binge (oh the shaame)  and ended up having a reeeally messed up dream.  Apparently sugar spikes cause your brain to come up with some interesting stuff during your REM cycle.

Aside from that, I’ve just been feeling soo sluggish.  I should be feeling awake right now.  I got enough sleep.  But I know my diet has been slowing me down.

So, here’s to another day. :)

Earlier this month, I had things in control and was at least coping with this whole October-Bad-Food-Fest.

But in the last week, I’ve really let myself go.

And now I feel all overweight, disappointed, and sad. :(

I know it’s only been about a week.  And the damage from a bad week isn’t hard to fix.  It’s just frustrating because I’m going bar hopping for my birthday on Friday,  my Mom’s having a Halloween Party with a bunch of food on Saturday, and then Monday is my actual birthday.

I’m just going to try really hard to not go overboard on all of those..

I really love October and don’t really want it to end.  But I need all this temptation to get the eff out.

*le sigh*

Not losing any weight, but feeling thinner. 

Is it new muscle from running more?     Is it all in my head?

I have just done a lousy job updating lately.  Ever since school started, its just been more difficult.  I is sorryz. :(

So here are my October Goals.  I’ve had them for awhile but haven’t posted them.

1.  Make it out alive without a weight gain.

2.  Get October to my highest monthly mileage on DailyMile.

I only have to run more than 16 miles this month, according to Goal #2.  I’m already at 10, I think.  Must ruuun moooore.

And Goal #1 is just so lacking in ambition because this month is a paaain in the bum.  I’ve already:

  • Celebrated two different birthdays with cake
  • Had a going away outing for a friend at Olive Garden  and
  • Endured The Cheesecake Factory on a school field trip 

And I still have:

  • My birthday on the 24th
  • A bar outing for my friends b-day this weekend
  • My own birthday bar hopping adventure next weekend
  • My mom’s annual Halloween Party with a bunch of food, and then
  • Halloween of course.

So, traditionally, October is pretty brutal as far as not gaining weight goes.  That’s not to say I haven’t been trying, but ultimately, my goal is to maintain and not gain.  November will definitely be a different story.

So how is everyone else? I’ve been jumping on and creeping on everyone a bit, but I know I’ve missed stuff.  Feel free to message me updates. :)
